What is danceSing?

danceSing is the inclusive, intergenerational, feel-good singing experience. We bring together a unique fusion of the arts and fitness and the danceSing experience is centred around the positive mental and physical wellbeing of our people.

 

Can I come along and give danceSing a try without signing up?

If you’re interested in danceSing but want to give it a try first, why not book an Unlimited Taster Week for just £12 and enjoy unlimited access to classes including danceSing, Big Sing Choir and Strength & Stretch Based Pilates which you can attend across ANY of our locations for an entire week! Do I need experience?

No experience and no audition necessary! danceSing promotes positive mental and physical wellbeing and is open to all ages and abilities. Each new member is warmly welcomed into our danceSing family. With a combined wealth of knowledge and experience spanning the health, wellbeing, fitness, music and entertainment sectors, our professional team of Leaders pride themselves on making the danceSing experience both fun and accessible to all who participate.  Whether you’re looking to maintain or develop your fitness, or simply socialise and make new friends, Team danceSing will be there to support you every step of the way.

 

What kind of memberships are there?

At danceSing we know that payment plans have to work FOR YOU, that’s why we offer the option Pay Monthly or Pay Termly. Choosing to Pay Monthly allows you to spread the cost of the membership and pay the same amount each month. Alternatively, you can choose to Pay Termly, this is a one-off payment for the full term and must be paid before the start of each term to secure your place.

 

danceSing offer three great membership plans to suit your individual lifestyle and budget, these are:

  1. Single Class Membership (£12 per week) – access to any ONE class each week
  2. Two Class Membership (£15 per week) – access to any TWO classes each week (add a 2nd class and save 38%)
  3. Unlimited Class Membership (£18 per week) – access to UNLIMITED classes each week (add a 3rd class and save at least 50%)

What is a term?

At danceSing we teach for 34 weeks of the year, split over 4 terms.  These are New Year Term (10 weeks), Summer Term (10 weeks), Autumn Term (7 weeks) and Winter Term (7 weeks).

What should I wear to classes?

It’s really important to feel comfortable. A simple t-shirt, leggings or joggers are ideal and we recommend you bring water or juice to keep hydrated throughout the session. In the Winter, remember to bring a cardigan or hoodie to keep you warm. We offer a great range of high-quality branded merchandise. We recommend our quick dry short sleeve t shirt.

Is there an age limit?

danceSing is the inclusive, intergenerational, feel-good singing experience. Our classes are currently for adults only, with a Membership body ranging from 16 to 92 years! We pride ourselves on making the danceSing experience accessible to everyone. We also offer danceSing Youth and danceSing Corporate.

Health Statement - Your Health & Wellbeing

  1. The danceSing On Demand programme is physically demanding. You must listen to your body and work at a level that is appropriate to your health and ability. Take breaks when needed and keep hydrated, ensure you have space to workout, clear of any objects, loose floor coverings, pets, children, other people, or equipment not currently in use.
  2. Only you can know if you are in a suitable physical condition to safely perform this exercise program and follow the nutrition plan. If you have any doubt at all, consult your doctor or physician before you take part in danceSing On Demand to assess your physical suitability. Follow all safety instructions before and during this or any fitness plan.
  3. If at any time you feel pain, discomfort, dizziness or nausea, you should slow down and stop exercising slowly. Then consult your medical provider.
  4. If exercising with a child, please assess the suitability of the exercise program first and consult with the child’s doctor or physician to confirm that they are physically fit to take part in danceSing On Demand. If at any time your child experiences pain, discomfort, dizziness or nausea, you should instruct them to slow down and stop exercising slowly. Again, then consult your child’s medical provider.
  5. If you are pregnant or have any underlying or special medical conditions you must first consult a doctor or physician to seek medical advice and confirm you understand the risks, contraindications, and complications of using this programme. Failure to do so could result in significant injury to you and others (including, if applicable, your unborn child).
